Car booting in Drumsturdy: a few tips
At a car boot sale people sell straight from the boot of their car: second-hand clothes, toys, tools, books, records and the odd antique, alongside traders and makers with stalls of their own. Sellers usually arrive early to set up and pay the organiser for their pitch on the day; buyers who turn up first get the pick of the tables, and those who come towards the end get the keenest prices. Bring change and a couple of sturdy bags, and check with the organiser before you set off if the weather looks doubtful. Weekly markets add fresh local food to the mix. More about Drumsturdy.
