London Dynamo

About London Dynamo

Newcomer rides on 7 November and 5 December 2026 open the club to cyclists new to group riding. London Dynamo operates as a performance-focused cycling club that grew from a strong heritage of road racing. The club’s programme spans road cycling, time trials, track events, gravel rides, cyclocross and sportives, catering to riders from casual social cyclists to those targeting personal bests and elite competition. Learning and development sit at the heart of the organisation, with the club’s values explicitly encouraging the sharing of knowledge among riders. A handpicked squad competes in National B events, while the wider membership includes riders of all ability levels. Coaching and skill development are central, with regular talks on training techniques and opportunities to share knowledge among members. Organised group rides give members the chance to improve riding skills and fitness. Described as a friendly club, it maintains a lively social scene alongside its competitive activities. Social events feature club socials, an annual awards night that recognises achievements across its racing and social programmes, and regular café stops after rides that offer informal settings for members to discuss tactics, equipment and experiences. Prospective members are asked to complete the form on the JOIN US page; joining instructions are emailed the evening before each scheduled ride. Because the newcomer rides fill quickly, early registration is advised to secure a place. The club is based in London, serving cyclists throughout the city and surrounding areas.
