Big Deal Thursday - The Big Gong Show

Big Deal Thursday – The Big Gong Show is a comedy event staged at Town and Gown in Cambridge. The evening invites comedians to perform short sets while the audience decides who stays on stage and who is sent off with a gong. Tom Alban hosts, guiding the crowd through a night of rapid jokes, bold stories and the occasional moment of chaos. The format is simple: each performer has a limited slot to win over the room, and when the gong sounds the act ends with no chance of appeal. Those who survive early rounds meet later in the series for a final showdown, with the champion walking away with a £100 cash prize. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, linked on the page.
