Assistant Psychologist - Tees Personality and Relational Service

An Assistant Psychologist position is available within the Personality and Relational Service of Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in Stockton on Tees, North Yorkshire. The role is based at Wessex House, Falcon Court, TS18 3TX and offers a fixed-term contract of 12 months. The role involves contributing to multidisciplinary assessments, developing risk formulations and safety plans, and delivering short interventions for service users with complex emotional needs. Essential requirements include a degree in psychology, eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society, and experience of communicating sensitive information and working with individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. Desirable experience comprises paid or voluntary work as a psychology assistant, familiarity with systemic barriers to care, and skills in clinical report writing.
