About this role
About this role The position is a permanent, full-time Band 3 role based across Gloucestershire hospitals, working within the dedicated admin team that supports the Trust’s cancer waiting-time targets. The post involves tracking patients through the treatment pathway, updating specialist databases, liaising with central booking offices and MDT co-ordinators, and providing administrative support for oncology services. Candidates must have a minimum NVQ level 3, be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and multitasking ability. Essential experience includes good communication skills, familiarity with NHS systems and data-entry practices, and the ability to work flexibly within a busy environment. Desirable experience includes prior NHS work, knowledge of cancer services, and an understanding of medical terminology.
