Clinical Psychologist

Senior Clinical Psychologist Band 8a posts are based at Orchard House in Leamington Spa and Stratford Healthcare Centre in Stratford upon Avon, both within Warwickshire. The role delivers a highly specialist service to children, young people and families facing complex mental health challenges, involving in-depth assessments, complex formulations and direct therapeutic work. The successful candidate will also provide expert advice to multi-agency teams and contribute to research, audit and service development. Applications are welcomed from those who meet Band 8a criteria or, if not yet at that level, from candidates who satisfy the Band 7 requirements; such applicants would initially be appointed to a development post at Band 7 and be supported to achieve competency for promotion within up to two years. The permanent position follows the Agenda for Change pay scale, with a salary ranging from £57,528 to £64,750 per annum. The post offers flexible, full-time hours that may include some virtual working, regular clinical supervision, opportunities for leadership development, and access to extensive learning and development resources.
