Local Care Direct is recruiting a part-time driver to work from its Westbourne Green Community Hospital base in Bradford. The position involves transporting clinicians safely to patients’ homes and other locations across West Yorkshire, supporting urgent care visits and helping to manage medical equipment and administrative tasks as needed.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points and substantial experience of city and motorway driving, both day and night. Candidates must demonstrate strong planning, organisational and communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. An enhanced DBS clearance is mandatory. Pay is £14.21 per hour for out-of-hours shifts, which include evenings, nights, weekends and all day Saturday and Sunday, while in-hours rates are £13.21 per hour from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. The appointment is permanent and follows a four-week rolling roster, with typical shifts such as Sunday 08:45 to 13:59 (week 4) and Saturday 18:00 to 22:59 (week 3).
