Forensic Healthcare Professional - Cleveland

About this role The position is for a Forensic Healthcare Professional based in Middlesbrough, working within a custody suite of Cleveland Police. The role involves conducting clinical assessments of detainees, collecting forensic samples, and providing care while adhering to the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 Codes of Practice. It requires close collaboration with police officers and custody staff to ensure the health and safety of individuals held in police custody.

The role is full time, working 42 hours per week, and offers permanent employment with flexible working arrangements. Pay is £40,993.68 per year, inclusive of standard benefits. Training is provided to support the successful candidate in carrying out forensic duties, including sample collection and fitness-to-be-detained assessments. Applicants must be a registered RN or paramedic with a minimum of three years’ experience, hold a full UK driving licence, and have been continuously resident in the UK for at least three years.
