Forensic or General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist Part -Time

The role is a part-time Consultant Psychiatrist position at Arbury Court Hospital in Warrington, Cheshire, working two to three days each week on a medium or low secure ward for adult women with complex mental health needs. The post requires full General Medical Council registration, membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act, with the candidate expected to be on or imminently joining the specialist register for forensic or general adult psychiatry.

The appointment is permanent and offers a negotiable salary together with a pro-rated £5,000 car allowance, 30 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and birthday, access to a Group Personal Pension Plan, enhanced maternity provisions, free meals on duty and a range of wellbeing and development opportunities. Additional paid shifts and time-back arrangements are available for on-call duties, which occur on a rota of approximately one in seventeen for full-time consultants.
