Health Care Assistant

Health Care Assistant City Health Care Partnership CIC Willerby, East Riding of Yorkshire

You will carry out health checks, take clinical observations and perform procedures such as blood pressure monitoring, wound care and ECGs within agreed competencies. The role also requires recording patient information accurately, preparing clinical rooms and equipment, and supporting the smooth running of clinics. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals, offering advice to patients and carers while contributing to safe, person-centred care.

The position requires a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience, and either possession of a Care Certificate or a willingness to complete it during induction. Essential experience includes work in a healthcare setting, the ability to manage your own workload and strong communication skills. Basic IT proficiency is also required. The role is permanent, full-time and falls within Band 3 of the Agenda for Change pay scale, with a salary of £25,760 to £27,476 per year.
