About this role
The role is a 12-month fixed-term project nurse/midwife position based at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds, working within the Medicines Management and Pharmacy Services Nursing Team. The post is part of the Agenda for Change pay band 6, with a salary of £39,959 to £48,117 per year, and is offered on a part-time basis.
Applicants must be a registered nurse or midwife with experience at band 5 or above, and should have a proven interest in medicines management, patient safety and the delivery of education or training for healthcare staff. Experience of clinical audit, change management and presenting to multidisciplinary groups is essential, as is the ability to organise work, manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a wider team. Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, are required.
