Rotational Ward Clerk

The Rotational Ward Clerk works across inpatient wards, Same Day Emergency Care and Early Pregnancy services at Tameside Hospital in Ashton Under Lyne. The role is part of the Same Day Emergency Care Unit and operates on a 30-hour permanent contract with shift patterns that span 07:00 – 21:00 seven days a week, including bank holidays. The post is covered by the Agenda for Change pay scale at Band 2, offering an annual salary of £25,272 pro rata. Applicants must have GCSE English or an equivalent qualification, solid keyboard skills and proven experience in reception or customer-facing duties, together with good communication and organisational abilities. Experience in a health-care environment is desirable but not essential, and familiarity with electronic patient record systems is required.
