About this role

The role is a permanent Specialty Doctor position in ear, nose and throat medicine within the ENT Department of East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, based at the William Harvey Hospital in Canterbury. The department works alongside ophthalmology and maxillofacial services, with a team of consultants, specialty doctors, registrars, teaching grades, trust doctors and nurse practitioners managing inpatient and emergency ENT work across two acute sites.

Applicants must be GMC registered with MRCS completion and have at least 12 months of ENT experience at a middle grade level, including six months in the NHS, with documented evidence of independent surgical practice. Essential qualities include a commitment to safety, clear communication, effective decision making and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
