Supervisor - Outpatients

About this role The position is a permanent, full-time Supervisor role within the Outpatients department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, based at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds. The post holder will lead a small team of clerical staff who manage the registration and booking of outpatient appointments across the Trust’s specialties.

The role requires proven supervisory experience and the ability to organise and motivate a busy administrative team, together with experience of personnel tasks such as maintaining staff records and conducting meetings on HR matters. Candidates should have a solid office background, experience coordinating clerical staff, and a good standard of education that demonstrates strong communication and numeracy skills. Minimum qualifications include five GCSEs or equivalent, computer literacy and an awareness of relevant NHS plans.
