Caretaker

Cold Harbour Church of England School seeks a caretaker to join its facilities team in Milton Keynes. The role is based at the school and involves maintaining a safe, clean and well-functioning environment for pupils and staff across the Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust. The post may require occasional travel to other Trust sites, with the successful candidate using their own vehicle for such journeys.

The ideal applicant will have proven experience in caretaking or facilities management, hold a relevant qualification or registration where applicable, and be able to demonstrate reliability and a flexible approach to working hours. The position is part-time, offering 30 hours per week split between the two schools, with some split-shift patterns. Pay follows the MK NJC Grade D scale, ranging from £26,834.00 to £28,142.00 per annum (FTE), and the role may develop into additional hours as the Trust’s needs grow.
