Cleanroom Domestic

A Cleanroom Domestic will work in the pharmaceutical production units of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, carrying out cleaning duties in aseptic, sterile and non-sterile environments. The role is based at the Trust’s sites in Stockport and involves wearing specialised clothing and working in a controlled clean-room setting.

The Trust seeks candidates with basic literacy and numeracy, experience in domestic cleaning and familiarity with safe working practices and COSHH. While a hygiene qualification is desirable, full training will be given. Applicants must be flexible, able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and be physically capable of handling cleaning equipment. The post offers a permanent, part-time position with a salary of £25,272 per year, pro rata, and benefits including annual leave of 27-33 days, NHS pension, staff discounts and a cycle-to-work scheme.
