The role involves delivering psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for adults with eating disorders within the Community Eating Disorders Service in Southall, working as part of a multidisciplinary team that contributes to risk management, treatment planning and recovery-focused care. Applicants must hold an honours degree in psychology (2:1 minimum), be fully registered with the Health Professionals Council and possess a post-graduate doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology that qualifies for BPS chartered status. Essential experience includes work with complex psychological needs, diversity awareness, individual and group therapy with high-risk clients, and collaboration across professional teams. Desirable experience covers teaching, supervision, cultural contexts, formal assessment tools and audit projects. The position is band 7 on the Agenda for Change scale, offering a salary of £55,524 to £62,652 per annum for a 12-month fixed-term contract, with full-time hours and the possibility of extension.
