Cover and Lecture Theatre Supervisor

Southfield School for Girls seeks a Cover and Lecture Theatre Supervisor to work within its lecture theatre, providing cover for teachers when they are absent. The role involves supervising up to four classes of approximately 120 students, maintaining classroom control and supporting student wellbeing. The position is based in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and reports to the Lead Practitioner. It runs for 191 days per year, with hours of 33.45 per week across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (8:15am to 3:15pm) and Wednesday (8:15am to 4:30pm), including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

The school requires experience working with children, strong communication skills and a solid understanding of safeguarding procedures. The role is offered on a fixed-term or temporary basis, with an annual pro-rata salary of £23,077 to £24,454.
