About this role
An exciting trainer and supervisor role sits within the busy Health Records Department at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport. You will lead training and quality assurance for the Evolve scanning team, support new and existing staff across all health records processes, and carry out regular audits in line with departmental guidelines. The position reports to the Training and Quality Assurance Manager and involves supervising the team during busy periods or cover shifts.
The role requires solid experience in health records systems, particularly Patient Centre, strong organisational and numerical skills, and proven people management ability. Essential qualifications include five GCSEs or equivalent, familiarity with PAS, and proven customer service experience. Desirable experience includes formal staff training and knowledge of data protection standards. You must be calm under pressure, multitask effectively, and possess solid IT skills.
The fixed-term contract runs for 18 months, offering a salary of £25,760 to £27,476 per year (pro rata), plus NHS pension and annual leave of 27-33 days.
