About this role
The role is a physiotherapist position within the Trafford Crisis Response Team, based at Meadway Health Centre in Sale, Greater Manchester. The post is part of the South Manchester Community Response Service and involves urgent, seven-day assessments and interventions for adults referred by community or acute services, or directly by the North West Ambulance Service. The team works alongside advanced clinical practitioners and a wider multidisciplinary group to provide rapid, community-focused care, aiming to prevent unnecessary A&E visits and support individuals for up to 48 hours at home. Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence and have daily access to a vehicle.
Candidates are expected to have relevant physiotherapy experience and appropriate qualifications, with registration on the appropriate professional body. The post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, with a salary of £39,959 to £48,117 per annum, pro rata, under the Agenda for Change pay scheme. Working patterns include full-time, part-time or compressed hours. The closing date for applications is 12 October 2026 and submissions must be made through the original advert.
