About this role
The role involves delivering assessments and low-intensity, evidence-based interventions to people experiencing common mental health difficulties within Milton Keynes NHS Talking Therapies. The practitioner will work part of the week at Stantonbury Health Centre in Stantonbury, Milton Keynes, and the remainder remotely, using a hybrid pattern that includes face-to-face contact, telephone and digital platform work. The post is permanent and falls within Band 5 of the Agenda for Change pay scale, with a salary of £32,073 to £39,043 per annum, pro-rated for part-time hours. Regular case management, clinical supervision and a programme of continuing professional development are provided, alongside access to wellbeing and professional support resources. Essential qualifications include a postgraduate certificate or level 3 undergraduate qualification in psychological wellbeing practice, together with demonstrable experience in mental health services, the ability to manage a caseload, and strong written communication skills. Desirable experience comprises work in primary care and familiarity with agreed clinical outcome targets.
