Salaried GP - 4 sessions

The New Hall Lane Practice seeks a salaried GP to provide clinical services across four weekly sessions, primarily on Thursdays and Fridays at its Geoffrey Street Health Centre site in Preston. The role involves delivering face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, repeat-prescription checks and on-call duties within a multidisciplinary team of partners, salaried GPs, nurses and allied staff serving approximately 7,200 patients from the city centre. Applicants must hold a recognised medical qualification, be registered with the GMC, and demonstrate experience in community-based general practice, with particular emphasis on collaborative working, accurate clinical documentation and adherence to prescribing protocols. The post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, with the prospect of extension, and provides negotiable remuneration based on experience, additional sessions for holiday cover and access to training within a practice rated Good by the CQC.
