Senior Healthcare Support Worker

About this role The position is for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker based in Exeter, working within the radiology department of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves assisting radiologists during procedures such as CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, and providing care for patients before and after their appointments. It is part of a permanent, full-time position with a 37.5-hour working week from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30.

The role requires experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with some exposure to interventional radiology, endoscopy, cardiac catheterisation or theatre environments, though training will be provided for suitable candidates. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to meet the clinical and safety standards of the NHS. The post falls within Band 3 of the Agenda for Change pay scale, offering a salary of £24,071 to £25,674 per annum, pro rata.
