Senior Nurse for Unscheduled Care

Procare Community Services is seeking a Senior Nurse to join its Adult Community Nursing Service in Milford, Surrey, as part of the Urgent Community Response team. The role is based at Milford Hospital and involves delivering urgent, unplanned and planned nursing care to adults in their own homes, with the aim of preventing unnecessary hospital admissions. The post operates across Guildford and Waverley, covering service hours from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday. Candidates will be expected to manage complex clinical needs, including wound care, catheter management, palliative care and medicines administration, while maintaining accurate electronic records using EMIS. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use are required, with reasonable adjustments available for disabled applicants. The position is permanent and falls under Band 6 of the Agenda for Change pay scale, offering a salary of £41,957 to £50,387 per year, pro rata.
