Specialist Clinical Pharmacist – ATMPs

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in advanced therapy medicinal products to join its expanding clinical pharmacy team in Manchester. The role operates within the hospital’s dedicated pharmacy department, supporting patients across haematology, solid tumour oncology, and teenage/young adult oncology services, with responsibilities centred on the safe and compliant use of ATMPs including CAR T-cell therapies, immune effector cell treatments, and Tumour Infiltrating Lymphocyte therapy. The postholder will contribute to service development, governance, and the delivery of specialist clinical pharmacy care across inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory settings within the Greater Manchester and Cheshire Cancer Network.

The role requires a qualified pharmacist with relevant post-registration experience, preferably with a background in oncology or complex clinical pharmacy services. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, contribute to multidisciplinary team working, and possess the capability to develop and implement clinical pathways. The position offers a permanent contract within Band 8a of the Agenda for Change pay scale, with a salary range of £57,528 to £64,750 per annum.
