Specialist Physiotherapist

The role is a fixed-term Band 6 physiotherapy post within the Therapeutic and Wellbeing team at Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes. The position is a 12-month maternity cover covering rehabilitation and wellbeing support for patients with cancer, long-term neurological conditions and other progressive illnesses, delivered across the In-Patient Unit and the Wellbeing Centre.

The successful candidate must be a HCPC-registered physiotherapist with a degree or equivalent, and bring experience in assessing and treating complex, long-term or progressive conditions. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage a varied caseload and comfort working independently as a lone worker are essential, while prior hospice or specialist palliative care experience and postgraduate training in palliative care, oncology or neurology are desirable.

The post offers a salary of £36,210 to £43,042 per year, full-time hours and the chance to work in a person-centred environment that values teamwork and professional development. Applications close on 16 October 2026 and must be submitted through the original advert.
