Speech & Language Therapy Advanced Practitioner - Expert at Hand

About this role The post is a senior strategic role based in Luton, Bedfordshire, within East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust. It is one of three regional Advanced Practitioner posts that form part of a national early adopter programme for SEND reform. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical leadership across education, health and local authority systems, shaping workforce development and service redesign for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.

The role requires HCPC registration and a Masters level qualification, with experience in strategic planning, workforce modelling and influencing commissioning decisions. The post operates on a fixed-term basis, offering full-time, part-time or flexible hours, including the possibility of remote or compressed working patterns. Salary falls within Band 8b of the Agenda for Change pay scale, ranging from £66,582 to £77,368 per annum, pro-rata.
