Sanquhar
Sanquhar is a historic market town and former royal burgh on the River Nith in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, north of Thornhill and west of Moffat. The town is approximately 49 miles southwest of Edinburgh, 36 miles southeast of Glasgow, and 24 miles north-northwest of Dumfries. It had a population of 1,913 in 2022.
