Children's Nurse Continence Advisor

A Children’s Nurse Continence Advisor joins a dedicated paediatric team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust, offering expert assessment and support to children and families dealing with bladder and bowel dysfunction. The role is based at the Sandwell Health Campus in West Bromwich and involves working across sites including Glebefields Health Centre and Rowely Regis Health Campus, with duties centred on independent nurse-led clinics, patient assessments, triage of referrals and the provision of clinical guidance to carers and professionals.

The position requires a registered children’s nurse (NMC-registered) with proven experience in paediatric continence care, the ability to manage an independent caseload and evidence of working with children who have complex health needs. Desirable skills include bladder-scanning experience, community practice and familiarity with education, health and care plans. The role is permanent, part-time and operates within Agenda for Change Band 6, with a salary ranging from £39,959 to £48,117 per year (pro rata).
