Class teacher

Herons Dale School seeks a qualified Class teacher to join its staff in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. The role is full-time and based within the school’s primary setting, where the successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.

Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status and be able to demonstrate recent Continuing Professional Development. Experience in delivering a differentiated curriculum and in managing a classroom that promotes positive behaviour are essential. The school also looks for strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and governors, and proficiency in using ICT for teaching and administration. Knowledge of current safeguarding practices and the capacity to remain calm in challenging situations are required.
