Clinical Fellow in Regional Anaesthesia

A Clinical Fellow in Regional Anaesthesia has been created within the Anaesthesia Department at Frimley Park Hospital, part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in Hampshire. The role is aimed at senior anaesthetic trainees who already hold the Primary FRCA or who are CCT holders seeking focused training in regional techniques. The position is offered on a fixed-term basis for up to 12 months, beginning in August 2027, February 2028 or August 2028, and is paid at a salary of £55,355 to £77,348 per year.

Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and demonstrate experience of working as an anaesthetist in the UK, including teaching responsibilities and competence in general and obstetric anaesthesia. Evidence of participation in clinical audit and governance is required, while experience in inserting peri-neural catheters and managing ultrasound-guided blocks is essential. Desirable qualifications include the Final FRCA or equivalent, and prior clinical exposure to regional anaesthesia is advantageous.
