Clinical Pharmacist

The role is a part-time Clinical Pharmacist position based at the Primary Health Care Centre on South Road, Chopwell, Newcastle Upon Tyne. The post is part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers care to around 2,500 patients across the practice’s catch-area. Working one day each week on a fixed-term basis for twelve months, the pharmacist will conduct structured medication reviews, manage chronic disease treatment, support antimicrobial stewardship and contribute to quality-improvement and audit activity within the practice.

Applicants must be currently registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and possess relevant clinical experience, particularly in medication reviews and managing polypharmacy. Experience in primary care or a multidisciplinary setting is desirable, as is familiarity with EMIS systems and an interest in quality-improvement work.
