Dental Nurse

A locum Dental Nurse is required to provide clinical support at the Ministry of Defence’s dental facility in Portsmouth, Hampshire. The role involves assisting with instrument preparation, sterilisation, radiography processing and patient record management, while adhering to infection control and GDC standards. Working 16 hours per week on a part-time, fixed-term basis for approximately 11 weeks, the position offers an hourly rate of £19.54 and weekly payments. Candidates must be fully registered with the General Dental Council, hold valid indemnity insurance, maintain clinical currency of at least two sessions per week over the past 15 months, and have up-to-date qualifications in emergency procedures, safeguarding and exposure-prone disease clearance.
