Dietitian

The role is a part-time dietitian position based at HMP Eastwood Park in Wotton-under-edge, Gloucestershire, working within a women’s prison that provides 24-hour health care to around 400 inmates. The post is permanent and offers 18.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling. The salary advertised ranges from £21 804 to £24 578 per annum, depending on experience.

Applicants must hold a recognised dietetics qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, with proven experience in dietetic practice within a large multi-disciplinary team. Evidence of continued professional development is required, and candidates must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom; successful candidates will also undergo security vetting. The duties include managing a clinical caseload, conducting nutritional assessments, creating treatment plans for conditions such as diabetes and malnutrition, delivering training to staff, and running group education sessions.
