About this role The post is for a Homecare Team Procurement Officer within the Centralised Medicines Homecare and Procurement Team at Abergele Hospital, part of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The role is based in Abergele, Conwy, and involves processing invoices, managing off-contract claims and supporting homecare prescriptions for patients receiving medicines at home.
The successful candidate will have experience using computers and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small administrative team. A relevant administration or purchasing qualification is desirable, and an awareness of pharmacy purchasing practices is essential. Ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not required. The position is permanent, full-time and falls within Band 3 of the Agenda for Change pay scale, with a salary of £26,813 to £27,890 per year. Training will be provided to support the post holder in carrying out the duties.
