Intervention Lead

The Intervention Lead at St John’s Marlborough will oversee the school’s Hub, a dedicated space of three rooms that provides a calm and purposeful setting for pupils facing barriers to learning. The role involves planning and delivering targeted one-to-one and small-group sessions that address SEMH, emotional literacy, numeracy, literacy, reading, attendance, engagement and readiness to learn. Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff, SEND and attendance teams, the postholder will assess needs, track the impact of interventions and help students develop the strategies and confidence required to re-engage with their studies and improve attendance and progress.

Essential qualifications and registration are required, and the school seeks candidates with proven experience in delivering targeted support within an educational setting. The position is full-time and term-time only, with an additional week, and offers a salary of £28,270.63 to £30,203.51 per annum.
