Junior Service Manager - Women & Children's Directorate

The Junior Service Manager will work in the Women & Children’s Directorate at Broomfield Hospital, supporting the Deputy General Manager and overseeing administrative teams that run paediatric outpatient services. The role involves managing staff appraisals, team meetings and performance, as well as validating Referral to Treatment pathways and ensuring patient records reflect clinical priority and waiting-time standards. It also requires monitoring patients who reach or exceed 52 weeks on their treatment pathway and coordinating with clinical staff to reduce long waits.

The position is permanent, full-time and falls within Band 5 of the Agenda for Change pay scale, offering a salary of £32,073 per year. Candidates must hold a leadership or management qualification or equivalent experience, have previous experience managing staff and working in a healthcare setting, and demonstrate strong written communication skills.
