Lead Occupational Therapist

The role is based at Emerald Place in Charlwood, Surrey, a 12-bed adolescent inpatient service that forms part of a multidisciplinary team supporting young people aged 13 to 18 with mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders. The position is permanent and reports directly to the Therapy Lead, offering the chance to shape and manage the occupational therapy service within a specialist hospital setting.

Applicants must be qualified and registered occupational therapists with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience, a full UK driving licence and proven experience in assessing and treating complex mental health needs, including psychosis, emotion dysregulation, depression and anxiety. Experience in supervising junior staff and coordinating treatment plans is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously while contributing to the wider clinical team.
