Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine

The role is for a Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine within the Acute Medicine Department at Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Cheshire, working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering acute care to the local population. The position is a 12 month fixed term appointment offering a salary between £113,565 and £150,569 per year, with the option of full-time or part-time hours. Applicants must hold full GMC registration and a current Licence to Practice, and be able to demonstrate extensive experience in Acute or General Internal Medicine. Essential requirements also include accreditation as a Consultant Clinical Supervisor, a membership of the Society of Acute Medicine, and proven ability to lead teams and teach junior staff. Desirable specialties include Respiratory Medicine, Care of the Elderly or Frailty, Diabetes or Rheumatology.
