Locum Consultant - Urology

The role is for a Locum Consultant Urological Surgeon based at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex, within the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The position involves delivering general urology services across outpatient clinics and operating lists, including minor procedures and day case surgery, while also providing specialist input into pelvic urology and multidisciplinary team meetings. A key aspect of the role is contributing to the development of a subspecialty interest, such as management of superficial bladder cancer or paediatric urology, alongside participation in on-call duties (approximately one in eleven) and teaching responsibilities. The post is fixed-term for six months, working full-time, and offers a salary of £113,565 to £150,569 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours.
