Mental Health Nurse

Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join its Dunnock View service in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. The role involves delivering compassionate nursing care to adults with a range of mental health conditions within a 42-bed, trauma-informed ward setting. Candidates must hold a relevant nursing qualification, be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and have completed their Preceptorship, with evidence required at application. The position operates within a permanent, full-time contract, working 12.5-hour shifts over three to four days per week, including weekends, nights and bank holidays, amounting to 40.25 hours weekly. Shifts follow a rotating pattern across the Tendring area, with duties centred on assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation, alongside mentorship of team members and accurate documentation of service user changes. The role offers a salary of £35,875 to £39,000 per year, inclusive of annual leave entitlement of 33 days plus the option to purchase additional leave, alongside structured training, wellbeing support, access to a rewards platform, and benefits such as a Blue Light Card and 24/7 GP access.
