Zest Registered Nurse

St Elizabeth Hospice is seeking a Zest Registered Nurse to join its dedicated Young Adult service in Ipswich, Suffolk, supporting teenagers and young adults with progressive illnesses and complex care needs. The role is part of an expanding respite offering that provides short breaks, weekend stays and community outings designed to foster independence, social connection and enjoyment. The nurse will lead weekend shift coordination for up to three service users, overseeing care assistants and ensuring health needs are met with responsiveness and compassion. Experience in learning disability care or working with complex health conditions is essential, and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council is required. The position is permanent, part-time, and based at the hospice’s site on Foxhall Road, with shifts primarily falling on weekends. Pay falls within Band 5 of the Agenda for Change framework, with a starting salary negotiable based on experience.
