About this role
About this role A locum Pharmacy Technician is required to work at the Ministry of Defence medical centre in Carterton, Oxfordshire. The post involves dispensing medicines safely and accurately, advising on prescribing matters, managing the dispensary, and ensuring compliance with UK legislation and SOPs. The role is based at RAF Brize Norton Medical Centre and requires registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council, an NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, and at least two years’ experience in dispensing within primary care.
The position is offered on a fixed-term basis with a 37-hour week and an hourly rate of £25.13, paid weekly. Assignments can be of varying length, including a current 9-week posting, and offer flexibility to suit availability. Successful candidates will receive free uniforms, mandatory training, a referral bonus scheme and an assigned consultant for support throughout the assignment.
