Primary Care Contract Administrator - Band 4 The role sits within the Primary Medical Contracts team at NHS Essex Integrated Care Board in Chelmsford. It is a permanent position based at Seax House, Victoria Road South, CM1 1QH, with a hybrid working model that includes two office-based days per week and the possibility of remote work. The administrator will manage contract inboxes, ensure accurate record keeping, issue contract variations and act as a key point of contact for the team, resolving issues or routing them to the appropriate specialist. Preparation, formatting and maintenance of contracts, spreadsheets and reports are central to the duties, alongside supporting the improvement of contractual processes to enable the team to concentrate on service delivery and patient care.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational abilities, the capacity to prioritise tasks in a busy environment and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience within the NHS, local government or another public sector body is desirable but not mandatory, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard IT systems is essential. The post offers a salary of £28,392 to £31,157 per annum, falls under the Agenda for Change pay scheme and provides a full-time permanent contract.
