About this role
The role is based on Baddow Ward at Broomfield Hospital in Essex, a 26-bedded unit that provides specialist care for older adults. As a Registered Nurse you will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering individualised care from admission through to discharge, while maintaining privacy and dignity for patients and their families. The position is offered on a permanent basis and can be taken up on a full-time or part-time basis, with salaries paid on the Agenda for Change scale at Band 5, amounting to £32,073 per annum pro rata for part-time hours.
Applicants must hold current NMC registration and be able to demonstrate experience in an acute care environment, together with a solid understanding of acute healthcare practice. Essential qualities include the ability to develop and evaluate care programmes, communicate effectively with patients, relatives and the wider team, and contribute to high standards of cleanliness and discharge planning.
