Senior Primary Care Mental Health Nurse

The Senior Primary Care Mental Health Nurse will be based at The Linden Centre in Chelmsford, Essex, working as part of the Primary Care Mental Health Service for the Braintree and Maldon locality. This full-time, 12-month fixed-term role involves 37.5 hours per week delivering mental health assessments, triage and brief interventions within GP practices, while acting as a gatekeeper for referrals into secondary services. The position requires a qualified non-medical prescriber with recent experience in community mental health, a UK driving licence and proficiency in the SystmOne electronic record system.

The role offers a salary of £49,387 to £56,515 per annum, inclusive of pension contributions of up to 14.5 % and 27 days of annual leave rising to 33 days after ten years’ service.
