About this role
Specialist Nurse Sexual Health Outreach The role is based in Worthing, West Sussex, delivering outreach sexual health services across the county in line with the West Sussex Sexual Health Needs Assessment (2025) and national public health targets. The post holder joins the Integrated Sexual Health Service, working alongside health inclusion groups in community settings and providing specialist knowledge to staff in partner agencies.
Applicants must be a registered nurse with an Associate membership or Diplomate of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health Care, hold a nationally recognised CASH qualification such as NA298, NA394 or NA6138, and have a Letter of Competence for sub-dermal implant insertion and removal. Desirable qualifications include a Masters degree, advanced non-medical prescribing competencies and a PG Cert in Education. Essential experience includes degree-level study, the required CASH qualifications and proven ability to champion diversity and equalities within health services.
The position is permanent, offered on a part-time basis within Band 7 of the Agenda for Change pay scheme, with a salary of £49,387 to £56,515 per annum pro rata. Closing date for applications is 18 October 2026; applications must be submitted through the original advert.
