About this role

About this role The Retreat West service in Weymouth operates from 4 pm to 12 am daily, offering a safe, therapeutic space for people experiencing self-defined crisis. As Team Leader you will lead a multidisciplinary team of peer specialists and registered mental health practitioners, championing a culture of openness, compassion and reflective practice.

You will provide day-to-day leadership, manage staffing, supervision and performance, and ensure delivery of person-centred care aligned with integrated-care values. The role involves building relationships with local authorities, primary care and community partners, and contributing to service development and co-production. Essential requirements are registration as a health practitioner with a degree-level qualification, evidence of recent professional development, experience at Band 6, and specialist expertise in recovery-focused crisis support.

The post is permanent, part-time and falls within Band 7 of the Agenda for Change pay scale, with a salary of £29,632 to £33,909 per annum.
