AOT Support Worker

The role is based in Colchester, Essex, within the Assertive Outreach Team of the Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. It involves delivering personalised, co-produced care and support to adults in North East Essex who face severe and enduring mental health challenges, often in their own homes or community settings. The position is part of a recovery-focused service that works with service users to develop meaningful goals around education, employment, volunteering or other occupations, while also supporting carers and building social networks.

Applicants must be able to travel across the North East Essex area and, on occasion, the wider country, and must demonstrate a flexible approach to meeting the evolving needs of service users and their families. The role is offered on a fixed-term, part-time basis for eight months, with a salary ranging from £25,760 to £27,476 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours, and falls under Band 3 of the Agenda for Change pay scheme.
