Community Children's Nurse

The role of Community Children's Nurse at Sirona care & health CIC in Kingswood, Somerset, involves delivering person-centred nursing support to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. The nurse will work within the Lifetime Service, providing clinical care, training for families and carers, and specialist investigations, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining up-to-date competence.

Applicants must be a registered Children's Nurse (NMC part 8 or part 15), hold a full UK driving licence and have experience of working with children who have complex health needs. Essential experience includes caring for children with complex conditions, and desirable experience comprises paediatric intensive or high-dependency care, paediatric palliative care, and familiarity with ventilation, tracheostomy and central line management. The post offers a permanent, part-time contract within Band 5 of the Agenda for Change pay scale, ranging from £32,073 to £39,043 per annum pro rata, plus standard NHS benefits.
